I started fishing for bass in 2006 when I moved to Castaic, California. Since the lake was less than five minutes from my house, I decided to go try to catch a bass out of the lagoon. It took me a long time to catch my first Castaic bass, but that fish had me hooked. I became a student of bass fishing, reading everything I could find, and talking to anyone who was willing to share information with me. In 2009, I created a fishing web site (zerolimitfishing.com) in an effort to provide a place where people could share fishing knowledge. In 2011, I started a bass club (zlfbass.com) where local fisherman can gather together and learn from each other. The thing I like most about bass fishing is that you can never know it all. There is always something new to learn, and there is always a fisherman somewhere out there who is willing to teach you.
